Global Selling

I’m interested in expanding markets in N. America. Could someone please help explain the taxation of Global selling? I am US based and understand that I can send my products to a US warehouse. If someone in Mexico or Canada orders one, they pay shipping internationally. Do I have to register business accounts in those respective countries and adhere to their taxes or is that something that Amazon takes far of?
