Group Purchasing

Hey – I am currently a student and am looking into potentially opening up my own Amazon wholesaling business. I’ve noticed that a bunch of sellers on here end up buying / sourcing their products from the same wholesalers and manufacturers. Has anyone here considered performing a group purchase order with other sellers who sell similar products from the same wholesaler such that each seller has better margins?
