GS1 Barcodes – How many do I need?

I am purchasing GS1 Barcodes online but am not sure how many I need. I have 1 product that comes in 5 different colors. Here is where I’m iffy… I have 2 different packages, ones with 4 units and one with 6 units. So do I need 5 barcodes since it’s 5 different colors, or do I need 9 barcodes because the 4 unit package has 4 different colors and the 6 unit package has 5 different colors?
