Help me understand “promotional clicks” in Amazon ADs
Hello everyone!
I’m a new Amazon seller. I sell a book using Amazon KDP. Days ago, I received an email from amazon that gives me promotional credits for doing some actions. However, I don’t understand how these promotional credits are applied to my account? In the terms, it says the following:
1- Advertisers will be charged for any clicks received before the promotional clicks are applied and for all advertising that exceeds the promotional clicks amount. Advertisers can suspend or pause their ad(s) any time before the promotional clicks amount is exhausted if they do not wish to receive additional advertising charges. Advertisers are responsible for monitoring promotional clicks usage as Advertisers will not be notified once the promotional clicks amount is exhausted.
2- This promotion will start on August 9, 2023 PST and will last until August 23, 2023 PST (the “Promotional Period”). Advertisers must complete the Qualifying Action during the Promotional Period.
3- Amazon will apply the promotional clicks to Advertisers’ account on September 6, 2023 PST.
So, I don’t quite understand. Am I paying for those clicks and they will refund me? Or will I pay for the clicks and they will give me ‘extra’ money. (Like I pay $50 and get another $50)
Thank you in advance.
