Help Needed: Transitioning from Single Member LLC / Registered Small Business on Amazon

Hey everyone,

I’ve been an Amazon seller for quite some time, initially setting up my account as a small side project to generate extra income. However, over the past few years, my business has grown significantly. Originally, I registered as a single-member LLC, which meant Amazon listed my personal name under the Legal Entity.

Recently, a business development representative from Amazon contacted me, suggesting I register as a Registered Small Business. I researched how to make this happen and got the certificate created through Supplier Gateway. I uploaded my certificate to Amazon, but it was rejected. I suspect the issue might be due to a mismatch between my legal entity and the business name listed on the certificate.

Has anyone faced a similar issue or have any advice on how to resolve this? I’m considering updating my LLC details or other steps to align everything properly. I am wondering if I need to switch to an LLC Partnership. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
