Help! Product authenticity issue!
Hello, I am a smaller FBM seller who likes to sell on Amazon as a side hustle. My main thing is going to Walmart clearance or other retailers near me and finding what I can to flip on Amazon. I’m very excited this holiday season because after doing this for about a year, I finally have seen the fruits of my labor come to fruition so to say. (Yay plenty of sales!)
So here’s where my issue came up, a customer submitted a return based on a discrepancy in the packaging of a product and her previous experience of receiving this specific product as fake.(From Amazon but a different seller) I was very concerned as soon as I saw that return and went to pull my inventory at zero until I was able to verify its authenticity. I got on the phone with the brand’s customer service and was able to verify it was an official lot number manufactured by them. I inquired as to the discrepancy of the packaging and they asked for photos to find out. I am currently waiting to hear back from them.
