Help with Escalating Amazon Brand Registry Complaints
I’m a brand owner on Amazon, and I hold both the trademark and the copyright for my product. I’ve been dealing with a persistent issue of counterfeit and fraudulent listings — dozens of sellers have stolen my product images and are selling knockoffs under their own listings.
I’ve had good success using Brand Registry to remove many of these, but some trickier sellers change their imagery or slightly alter the packaging after filing appeals. Once they appeal, I’m often blocked from submitting new infringement reports on those specific ASINs.
I’ve tried escalating through Brand Registry Support, but the responses I get are vague — usually along the lines of “we’re unable to accept new evidence for this report” or “the case is considered closed.”
Has anyone had success getting Amazon to reopen or escalate an existing infringement report? If so: • What kind of language or documentation did you include? • Did you reference prior case IDs, attach new evidence, or go through a specific contact or department? • Is there a particular way to frame the report that gets a better outcome?
Any advice or examples would be appreciated — especially from anyone who’s managed to get repeat counterfeiters or appealed listings taken down.
