How are patented products being sold?
In golf, rangefinders are basically a set of electronic binoculars. Currently, Topgolf Callaway, the largest player in the space, has a patent for it expiring in 2028.
Despite this, there are many sellers selling their own variation (with decent volume over sustained periods) and it doesn’t appear to be only Chinese/non-US sellers.
So, am I misunderstanding the idea that you can’t sell patented products at all? Is it just a risk these brands are taking that enforcement will be weak?
