How do these “DDP” shipping rates work and how are they so cheap?

Hey all,

Been using the same marketplace everyone on here constantly recommends to find freight forwarders for the last 2 years of biz, and my duty tax is usually around $1200 a shipment.

I tried some independent forwarders off the platform, and these guys are coming in around $1500 for a “DDP” shipment which means duty included. That means I’m saving over 1k right out the gate.

HOW DOES THIS WORK?!

Immediately my “sketchy” radar goes off, but these guys are super popular are shipping a LOT of Amazon sellers. (I don’t want to name anyone)

Is this legit? How are they able to pull this off???
