How many products are you selling (wholesaler)?

I’ve been selling 2 branded products for 2 months now and they’ve been selling pretty well but I only make about $.78 profit (4.58% net margin) after all the FBA costs for 1 product and $2 profit (14.25% net margin) for the 2nd product. I plan to find more branded products to sell, but was curious how many products other wholesalers sell and how much profit do you make on average for a product? Is there a minimum profit you have?

I”m also wondering if I shouldn’t restock the 2 items I’m currently selling since I’m really not making much profit and the money might be better spent buying other products. Should I not sell a product that doesn’t generate at least $1 – $2 profit?

My goal is to make $1K – $2K profit every month. For those who have reached/surpassed that, how many products or what’s the profit margin you try to maintain?
