How to go about with Private label products?

We want to start selling a new product – Let’s say a moisturizer. We’ve got the GSTIN for this product. We’re company A registered in Canada and we’ve got this product manufactured from company B who are based in the US.

How do we go ahead and list this product with the brand name “XYZ” which is new and not registered anywhere or do we have to go ahead and put it as generic?
