I am looking into starting a web store and have some questions for experienced users in the field.

My brother and I are looking into starting an Amazon store or Shopify store that sells tea – he currently lives in Thailand and would ship the tea from Thailand to US. Then I would ship it within the US to start (I live in US)

We are looking for a good starting web store. I am looking at Shopify as well.

My main questions are:

Cost of international shipping, like from Thailand to US. Im guessing there’s tariffs involved. Does Amazon offer shipping for you? Like if I were to drop off the product to an Amazon shipment center then they would do the picking and packing when orders come in? What does this cost if its available? What does it cost to run a web store besides paying the 39.99 a month for the Amazon Seller subscription?

I want to see if its even worth the profit margin for selling Thailand tea.
