If I add child asins to a new parent will I lose ranking?

Hi all, I have a variation listing on amazon with 4 childs which are almost 90% of my income so I am a little wary of changing anything before I’m certain.

Basically when I started selling on Amazon I set the brand name as my store name (I have later gone on to have a trademarked brand which is registered on my account too but this is different to my store name) and somebody has recently come along and changed all my child asins to a different brand.. which was a slight problem in itself but the sales wern’t effected.

Recently one of the variations has been search suppressed due to missing unit count which when I input it nothing happens and when I try update it via a feed it mentions something about the parent been a different brand so won’t let me.

Question… without deleting the childs (which I will lose all ranking and my sales will pretty much stop) is there a way to change the brand name back, Ideally I would want the parents and childs to be my own trademarked brand (amazon reps keep telling me it’s not possible without starting over) – or alternatevely to get the asin suppression listing can I create a name parent which is the same as the childs and attach them to this.

TLTR – Somebody changed the brand on all of the childs on my variation listing but the parent is still my store name (unregistered brand) – 1 child has been search suppressed and I’m unable to add the relevent info, is there a way to get these back up and running without deleting and starting again / losing my sales and ranking.
