If I have international shipping turned off. Why am I still making international sales?
Based in UK. a while ago I got sick of refund claims (mostly from Italian customers for some reason) for international orders so I turned holiday settings on for all European Amazon sites.
Today, I accidently turned them off because of a constant email bombardment from Amazon that I’m at risk of being deactivated because my holiday settings we’re on. At the same time I turned off International Shipping options to make sure I didn’t offer international shipping.
Within 30 minutes I made 5 sales that I’m going to fulfil and just risk getting scammed again. My question is, if I have international shipping settings turned off, why was I able to sell to Europe? Basically I’ve just offered free international shipping for 5 orders that I didn’t mean to.
I’m still profiting after fees, tax and postage as they’re high value/high profit items but I’m more annoyed I’ve made the sales without charging extra for international delivery. The international tick box is OFF, so how come I can make sales with free shipping?
