I’m having trouble making an individual seller account and can’t access the seller page at all.
I am trying to make an individual seller account because I am just reselling old things. Every time I scrolled to the bottom of the page and clicked the individual account button, I was directed to the business account set up and warned of the monthly fee I would pay.
So I contacted customer service. They said I could either make the account and request a refund after downgrading or try making an account with a different email since I can’t be charged if I don’t finish the set up.
I tried the email trick a few times but it kept doing the same thing no matter how many times I cleared my cache and cookies or what browser I used.
So I went with the first option. I now have an account to a page that just says “thank you for sharing information” and we’ll email you when we finish verification within 2 days. This page comes up with every link to a seller account page. There is no services tab on the left to use for a downgrade.
The help FAQ just says “there may be other accounts that require a professional account.” I have no idea what it’s talking about. Do they want me to close my customer prime account?
After contacting customer service again I received I repeat of the original message. So I’ve contacted them again with further detail and questions.
What am I supposed to do in this situation?
