Images in “Unknown Status”

Hey there. Brand new seller using seller central to see my printed books. I am approved for Brand registry and setting things up

I’m seeing images uploaded remaining in “Unknown status”. I have double checked that the images confirm to requirements.

Are all images either accepted or rejected? I did read that the ai sometimes just decides to not use an image for a number of factors In this case is the image explicitly rejected or does it just remain in “Unknown status” and sometimes it shows up and sometimes not?

Also, Amazon had added my book via ISBN some time back so they own the main ASIN and main image, but I made a sku and I’m hoping to add more images. If I have a sku of a product that is managed by another seller, will my images ever be considered?
