Ineligible for Brand Registry
We’re in the process of setting up FBA in the U.S. and recently applied for brand registry. We were rejected on grounds of ‘abusive’ behaviour. From our perspective, this is complete nonsense, but if we unknowingly have been, we’re keen to understand how. We of course appealed, provided all the necessary evidence that we are a genuine brand but we got what looks like a templated email that has rejected our appeal.
Amazon Brand Registry communication is predictably shocking. They don’t explain what the ‘abusive behaviour’ is/was. Countless enquiries will always lead you back to the same templated email or links to general useless information.
We have gone through every single bit of communication with Amazon over two-years and we are none the wiser for it. It’s just insane to us. Anyway, we’re done with Amazon and their shit-fuckery, so we’re organising a fulfilment centre instead.
