Is Amazon intentionally choking out the small sellers without telling them?

I keep seeing more bad news as time progresses forward so I would like to hear it from people that have tried to start up in the recent 3-4 years and ask how the landscape has changed for the worse of selling on Amazon….

Real world evidence examples may be of more value here than opinions. It just doesn’t look good the amount of disregard Amazon seems to have for the smaller sellers. I suspect they’re up to something over the coming few years but I don’t know.
