Is it better to start out on Etsy or Amazon?

Hey guys, I’ve received several Samples from manufacturers and will place a bulk order soon. I’m wondering with all the competition is it better to start off on Etsy before Amazon? Please let me know what y’all think. While selling on Etsy I would gain more capital and get selling experience. But on the other hand I have spent a lot of time learning about Amazon…thoughts?
