Is It Possible to List Two SKUs of the Same Product with Different Warranty Periods on Amazon?
Hi everyone,
I need some advice regarding listing strategies on Amazon. We currently sell a product priced at just over £900 in the UK and the same in US dollars in the US. We’re the manufacturers, and the product currently comes with a 1-year warranty (valid if the buyer registers it on our website).
Now, we’re thinking of adding a second SKU for the same product, identical in every way except it will include a 2-year warranty instead of 1 year. Of course, the new SKU will be priced slightly higher to account for the extended warranty.
Would this approach be acceptable to Amazon? For example, if we clearly mention “with 2-Year Warranty” in the title and bullet points, do you think Amazon will allow it? Also, do you think this is a good idea from a sales perspective, or is there a better way to offer extended warranties on Amazon?
Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
