Listing hijacking’s

I noticed one of my listings was flagged for “intellectual property complaint”. As I was looking into the issue it seems like a relatively new Chinese company was able to change everything. Pictures, description, ratings and even changed the items category. It was odd because the original product I sold was there for many years and is an authentic manufacturer barcode from gs1. When looking up the ASIN of my original product, the page that comes up is a Chinese AC unit. I’ve called Amazon support and the are going to look into it. Seems like the only way this could be done is if someone on the inside was in on it. Have you ever had to deal with this?
