Making a new listing

Hello had a question I made a brand new listing first time ever making a listing it’s not my own product it’s a big company product, so I put all the details information pictures and then saved it and submitted it when I did a message popped up saying it could take 24 hours to be approved, but after that, I never got an email for it I can’t find it in my seller central did I do it right am I supposed to get an email or have a way to check the status just confuse first time ever making a listing thanks
