Moving account from individual to business

When I initially opened my AmazonSeller account, I considered selling under my own name and personal details – and I set this up right away.

Now that I’ve started working with manufacturers and developing my ideas into products over the last 3 months – I’m almost ready to launch with my first product – now, 3 months down the line of opening an Amazon seller account… I have realised that my business model needs to be under a registered business model, and should have been from the beginning….

…. So over the last month, I have setup an LLC and submitted application to trademarked my brand.

I now need to amend my AmazonSeller accounts from my individual details to my business details. I’m just wondering if anyone else has had experience doing this or if it’s less hassle (or raises less red flags) if I just delete my current account and start again with a registered business account?

At the moment, I am still waiting on my EIN… but once it comes through, I can complete business setup and have everything ticked off to open a business account on Amazon properly.

What are the recommendations to update my Amazon seller details under these circumstances?
