My amazon account got suspended and Amazon is holding all my funds indefinitely
So my account got suspended due to an account related suspension. It has been 90 days and amazon refuses to give me my money back that was frozen when my account got suspended, they say they are going to hold my funds indefinitely. My account was in perfect standing and had never been suspended before. The account in question is my friends account and we probably accidentally IP matched which is why they think his account is mine. Amazon flagged his account for being a “fraud” account and he can’t file a claim and they will not respond to him at all. It just seems unfair that I will lose thousands of dollars when I had nothing to do with his account.
What do I do?
Here’s what Amazon said in their email to me:
“After completing our investigation and seeing the information you provided, we have determined that your Amazon seller account has been used to engage in deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity that harms our customers, other selling partners, and our store.
What happens now?
The funds in your account will not be disbursed to you. This is a final decision made after seeing the information you provided.
We may not respond to further emails about this issue.
