Nationwide Barcode vs GS1

Hello,

I’m new to Amazon FBA and i’m getting ready to list my first product. Before i do that i was wondering if anyone had any experience with using Nationwide. I would appreciate any feed back. The good the bad the evil. Is it worth it or is it better to just go directly through GS1.
