Need Advice for Starting E-commerce Business Catering to Canadian Market
Hello Amazon sellers,
I am a software developer from Canada, planning to foray into online marketing with an e-commerce venture. I am looking to bridge a gap I’ve seen between product availability and pricing in Canada and the U.S.
I am aiming to provide products unavailable or costly in the Canadian market, at cheaper prices, without asking for discounts from you. I would like to become your authorized reseller for the Canadian market. The process I have in mind is to list your items with a 15% profit margin to my total cost. I won’t be purchasing items in bulk up front, at least not initially. Instead, I will purchase the item from the your store once a sale occurs on my website, thereby mitigating unnecessary risks. Gradually I plan to switch to bulk buying as and when we can identify high-demand items. In this case, I may ask discounts but not now.
I need your advice on what my first steps should be before I list your products on my site. Any suggestions, warnings, or general guidance will be highly appreciated. Your insights could help create a more balanced and competitively priced e-commerce platform for Canadian customers.
Thank you
