New 45-day ASIN, 200 sales/month, brand-only seller on listing

Hey everyone,

Looking for outside opinions before I consider this product. I’m a new OA seller fyi… I found a beauty ASIN that’s about 45 days old. Estimated 200 sales/month. Only seller so far has been the brand. Price has been stable the entire time.

Do know that:

-I’m ungated

-purchased directly from the brand online (meaning proper invoice)

-FBA

-brand has buy box.

Looks like a new launch with ads pushing the velocity….

I’m also curious:

-Is this likely just a controlled rollout where they’ll suppress price once another seller appears?

-Has anyone successfully jumped onto a brand-only new launch like this without price wars?

-If you were testing this, how many units would you risk?

-Any obvious red flags I might be missing?
