New PL Seller – Brand Approval or Brand Registry?

I’m a new seller, trying to figure what I should do in regards to branding.
I created a brand name for myself and I have a product I have in mind. Haven’t made an LLC/S-Corp yet, will do so in a few months. However, I haven’t placed orders with the supplier yet because I want to get this branding situation sorted out. I tried creating a dummy listing but it didn’t work (error 8572). I bought the UPC code under my own brand name and I put the dummy listing as Generic as instructed & the error shows up. I’ve contacted Amazon customer support but I feel like its going back and forth. I’ve provided them the GTIN cert but they are asking for proof of affiliation which I can’t prove because it’s my own brand that I made up!! I even tried writing an email saying I could use the brand but still no avail.
Would Brand Approval be enough to solve this problem? So I can create dummy listings (and real ones) under my brand name while using the UPC code under my brand name? What’s the best way to get Brand Approval?
Or would I have to get Brand Registered (IP acceleration) in order to create listings and sell products? I would rather not get Brand Registered until I’ve made some sales and made some profit.
