Open return request – item hasn’t been returned

Hey all, I have an open return request for one of my FBM items. It does show that the package was picked up by USPS on July 22nd, but it surely shouldn’t take that long to get back to me. This was auto-authorized and Amazon issued the RMA and shipping label.

Is it okay to leave it open in perpetuity? I feel like I shouldn’t have to refund an item that wasn’t returned.
