Product manufacturing

Hello. I’m a new seller to Amazon. I’ve opened last month LLC and received all necessary licenses for reselling for my state. Now I want to launch my branded product. What is the steps to register it? I want to manufacture an item abroad. Do I need to register a second LLC under my main LLC or just to receive a manufacturing license? And UPC code? Item isn’t something new, so I will not apply for patent, and I want to have a brand name different than my primer company name. And is it possible to prevent copying a picture and text? Thank you.
