Prop 65 risk from Amazon
Hi, I’m a new seller and have only had 5 odd customers. To my knowledge, from looking at my product manufacturer (supplier) certificates, it meets the minimum safe harbor limits for prop 65. This is not a food, clothing or baby product. I did not include prop 65 label on my first sales. I realized recently that there is a chemical present but it is under the limit values per OEKA standard. I’m also a single owner-employee business.
My question – what realistically is the risk that Amazon will get notice and they in turn will come to me? Can Amazon sue me, or are they limited to suspending my seller account?
Thanks in advance.
Edit: 1. Corrected spelling of certificates 2. Going forward I plan to affix prop 65 labels on my products. My question is about prior risk
