Pros and cons of amazon global selling

I want to sell in usa. It is said that I can sell in uk as well through Amazon us seller central if I pick global option. I have doubts about whether I sell in Uk through separate account or through Amazon us with global option. Because I don’t wanna charge the customers in uk with additional costs like shipping considering global selling option Amazon retains the stock in usa. What do you think?
