Question about Selling Amazon Canada as a US seller

I think I rembmer reading that if you did over 30K in revenue (in CAD?) in a year, you have to register to the Canadian government and do taxes and stuff which is something I don’t want to do at all. Is that still the case? I used to sell on Amazon canada a few years ago and got a 1099K from Amazon canada. Do i have to do anything with the Canadian goverment?
