Questions about shipping/logistics (first timer/newb)

So I got a product designed and to be produced from Shenzhen China.

I will be selling in Amazon US to test and learn about the whole process of being a seller on Amazon.

Now I don’t know what to do in terms of shipping destination on the US-side. My manufacturer can ship my goods all the way to the US but has asked me where to ship to. So where does my goods need to be shipped to the the FBA warehouse? Is there a port destination?

I need someone to explain the logistical process to me like I am 5 years old, because all the info I see on google is like “depends, depends, depends”. So I am quite lost.
