Hi everyone, just wondering whether anyone could help me solve a bit of a tech issue/navigate the site?
For reference I’m UK based and attempting to trade in the European marketplace.
I make a seller account (for the first time) about 3-4 weeks ago. Submitted my information, uploaded proof of ID, address, bank statements, etc.
Within 24 hours, the account activated. Within 10 minutes of activation, I got an email saying it had been deactivated because Amazon needed more information.
After a week, I got a message saying they wanted to do a video call to verify my ID. I did this about two weeks ago, but haven’t heard anything since, despite the amazon operative saying it would take 72hrs max.
On my dashboard, if I go to “help” I get the option to select one of two queries; one asking about reaxtivation, the other about submitting an appeal. Both options just lead to an automated email reply saying it’s not the correct channel.
Finally, i get a banner on my dashboard that offers to link me to someone to talk about my account health. This would be ideal, but when i click it says that i don’t have permission to vies the page.
I’m at a total loss now and can’t find a way to speak to a human at amazon about this. I haven’t committed any infractions because I haven’t actually used the account yet.
Any advice?
