Recommended shipment option or standard shipment option?

The recommended shipment option will have me split my products into 3 separate shipments for 3 warehouses, the standard only sends to 1 warehouse. It would be cheaper to send everything to one address. Would it cause any issue if I just went with the standard? It’s much easier to manage.
