Representing a foreign seller for the US Amazon market
Hello.
I have a relative in foreign country who wants to start selling on Amazon.
At the moment, in terms of structuring the business, I thought that it would be wise to clearly identify which duties will be handled by each party.
To that end, I am thinking about only providing the customer service (even though I heard that Amazon FBA does some of this), making product listing, keeping track of orders and inventory, communicating with the relative to keep the business making money (hopefully).
With that being said,
I was thinking about having the relative set up a Amazon seller account using his bank information and what not.
Would that be the proper way to go about it?
Or should I be the one setting up the Amazon seller account?
And what are other logistic details that I am not anticipating due to my ignorance?
Please advise.
