Restricted Policy Violation – Sephora
Hi All,
I’ve been selling on Amazon for a couple of years now doing RA. I recently received a Restricted policy Violation stating that one of my cosmetic listings (a Sephora lipstick) has a prescription ingredient. Spoiler alert: it does not contain this ingredient. However, the ingredients are not listed on the tube and the product doesn’t come with a box with the ingredients either, therefore it’s been impossible to prove otherwise. I’ve uploaded the ingredients from the manufacturer’s website along with a bunch of pictures of the product but, per Amazon they want it on the packaging. Does anyone know of a work around, or dealt with this situation before? I was wondering if I could print and add the ingredients to a poly bag myself? I’ve called both Seller Support and Account Health, explained the situation and haven’t been able to get anything resolved yet. The impact of this violation is high and although my account health still says healthy, reading the fine print, it sounds like my account may be shut down in 90 days of I can’t successfully appeal this violation. TIA for your help/advice. I’ve deleted all my cosmetic listings for the time being as I’ve heard that there have been issues across the board in this category.
