Risks of not managing my amazon seller account for 6-12 months
Hi,
I run an e-commerce product brand. I design and manufacture my own products and try to sell them mostly online. One-man band, it’s just me for now. I also still work a day job. Hoping to go fulltime on my business Q2 2024.
I decided to start selling my products on amazon as well. Went through the whole rigamarole of getting my brand approved (not the trademark thing yet) and getting 3 listings online. 2 of the 3 listings have stock, the 3d one I havens sent anything in yet.
I underestimated the effort amazon selling takes though and the learning curve. I have no sales yet.
I came to realize now that I don’t have the time to focus on amazon for now. Need to focus my time, energy and resources in my other sales channels for now, unfortunately I cant do it all.
Would there be a problem if I just let my amazon seller account exist in the background for the next 6-12 months until I go fulltime on my business and have more time to spend on it?
Or will my account get suspended or something if I have these products in stock and I never receive any sales?
Trying to prioritize and focus my attention since I feel I am spread too thin.
