“Search term” vs “targeting”
I’m 7 weeks into running sponsored ads and things are moving along nicely, but I’m getting conflicting data for a specific “keyword” in one of my ad groups.
Same as group, same product; 2 different results.
When I look at my data for “targeting”, these keyword shows up and is close to my target ACOS, which is great (40%).
When I go under “search terms”, the exact same keyword shows up, but with totally different data and an ACOS that is way off (180%).
How does one optimize this correctly so I’m not killing a good keyword, but also not losing money?
For the record, this is under “exact match”, if that matters.
