Seeking Help: Resolving Persistent ‘Pending Registration’ Error for Amazon Seller Account Merging

I’m in need of some guidance regarding an ongoing issue with my Amazon seller accounts across different regions and previous attempts to seek help from Amazon support.
Here’s the backstory: I’ve been an established Amazon seller for quite some time. I ventured into the European market a while back but didn’t engage much, leading me to close that account. Lately, I’ve been looking to re-enter the EU market, so I set up a new seller account with the intention to merge it with my primary one.
This is where things got tangled. Despite my efforts, I’ve been hitting a wall with an error message stating “Accounts Cannot Be Merged” because of “pending registration.” Trying to resolve this, I even attempted to add another new European account, only to be met with a “something went wrong” error.
I’ve reached out to Amazon seller support several times in the past, but unfortunately, the assistance I received hasn’t resolved the issues. They keep pointing me towards resolving these pending registrations, but I’ve scoured both accounts and can’t find any incomplete steps or misconfigurations.
Below is the error I’m continuously facing. I’m wondering if anyone here has experienced anything similar and what steps you took to overcome such hurdles. Is there a specific department within Amazon support that specializes in this sort of issue, or a certain approach that worked for you?
