Seller Account deactivated in US/Canada/Mexico Marketplace
Amazon has recently identified a dormant seller account associated with my name, which has been inactive since 2018. Consequently, they have restricted my access to the US, Canada, and Mexico marketplaces. However, all other marketplaces remain unaffected.
I promptly responded to Amazon’s notification by providing extensive evidence confirming the closure of the aforementioned business entity in 2018. Moreover, I successfully initiated the closure of the inactive seller account.
Despite these efforts, I find myself at a loss regarding the additional documentation or evidence required by Amazon to rectify this situation. This is the email they have sent;
We received your submission but do not have enough information to reactivate your account at this time.
To reactivate your account, please provide evidence that you have never owned a separate account and believe this deactivation was in error by providing supporting documentation. This includes but is not limited to any authorized or unauthorized relationship through a third-party company or evidence of account compromise. If we cannot substantiate the claim, your account will not be reinstated.
Has anyone encountered a similar scenario and successfully resolved it? I would greatly appreciate any guidance or insights on the specific documentation or steps needed to facilitate the resolution of this issue with Amazon. Thank you.
