Selling application

I have a question. I recently applied to sell something that I was already ungated for. Long story. However, I sent the wrong document for that selling application. I eventually sent the correct documents. I haven’t heard back yet. I should recieve a response by Friday. My question is, I am worried I caused too much of a confusion as I thought this was related to another situation I have going on with amazon. Which I did try to clarify in the selling application case. My question is before I get approved or denied. Should I close the case and reapply? Just to make sure I would be able to reapply, I did try to apply for something else and closed the case. It did allow me to reapply but it also said that it was declined. Which it wasn’t necessarily declined, I had just closed the case. Is it better to wait or close the case, reapply and wait for an answer? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
