Selling High Arbitrage Products:
I was interested in selling some products from my country to Amazon USA. While researching, I found some products that are literally selling at 10x the price. So, I found some suppliers. Here in India, people are not that brand-conscious; it’s mostly a commodity market. Some products I found are turmeric, which here, the best quality and packing will cost you around $12/lbs. On Amazon, brands are selling it for somewhere around $120/lbs as golden milk powder. The same goes for roasted peanuts, arabica coffee, black rice, basmati rice, puffed rice, and more.
Then I discovered this subreddit, and now I’m feeling a little demotivated owing to too much bother and terrible customer service from Amazon. So I’m dropping the idea of selling myself. However, if you want to create your brand with high-quality products as well as profit margins, try these things. One fascinating thought I had was that Americans adore coffee (any type of coffee), which is one of the best-selling items on Amazon, and they also enjoy peanuts. So, why not combine both, a new beverage product by finely blending peanuts with instant coffee and branding it as pbfit powder but better.
If someone is interested in this kind of stuff , we could collaborate. I’ll manage the supply chain, quality control, packaging, shipping, and overall product and brand development, while you handle the sales on Amazon.
