sent 1000 units for FBA but 300 of them are missing.

I arranged this shipment for a friend. He had 1000 units of the same thing, and I packed them all and shipped to Amazon. I have done this before, and never had a problem like this.

Units had no FNSKU labels on them, I guess he used amazon’s service, I do not know. Anyways, now he is saying that Amazon received 700 units instead of 1000 and I don’t know what to say.

My first suggestion was to call UPS, give them the tracking numbers and ask the measured weight of the boxes. If the total weight measured by me is 100LB, and UPS has a similar number, it would be Amazon messing up.

Have you experienced something like this? I do my own SKU labeling and never had such problem. I have never used Amazon’s labeling service, so I don’t know how that goes.
