Shipping small items to avoid FBA Receiving Mishaps

So annoyed and trying to avoid this issue in the future. I sent in a rare Nintendo Ds game to Amazon and they lost it or just plain threw it away. I put a FNSKU label on a small zip lock back with a small piece of tape to keep it shut then bubble wrapped, added plastic wrap and then placed another label for safe measure. I’m guessing they didn’t see it compared to the other full size disc based games and just tossed it. If you have a rare, expensive item that’s small, are there any steps you take so this doesn’t happen?

Side rant, another game (full size Xbox 360 case) just got lost in another shipment. All others were checked in fine. I’m not doing large volumes and know I accurately accounted for the volume. Tired of them losing my stuff which is hurting margins. I know I get more on Amazon than eBay but I don’t have to deal with the lost products
