Social Security card upload?

I have a holiday business where I only sell a few months a year and this year when I go to reactivate my account they require me to upload pictures of my SS card. I have not had to do this in previous years but now I do. Any help with why they are asking for this now? I provided my SS number, DL pics, and pics of a utility bill like usual but now they want my SS card uploaded.
