Sponsored Ads / HFSS Issues?

Hi all,

Looking for some advice here. I sell a vitamin cocoa powder on Amazon. It’s been selling fine all of 2024 then suddenly (after switching to FBA) they applied a HFSS restriction that prevents sponsored ads.

HFSS is a regulation that prevents retail of products high in fat, sodium & sugar (predominantly for confectionary goods). Our product has little of the above & is actually exempt although it has been an absolute nightmare getting this message across to Amazon Seller Support (4 months without success).

I wanted to know if anybody else has experienced this & had any advice how to get this resolved? Looking at the forums there are many others that have had this issue too but little updates of any resolution.
