Struggling with Reactivating my Amazon.co.uk Selling Account from 2014 – Need Advice!
Hello everyone,
I’ve hit a wall with my Amazon.co.uk selling account and need some guidance.
My account was deactivated in 2014. At the time, Amazon requested several details:
Duration of business operations Expected monthly sales on Amazon Product availability Retail location addresses Links to other selling platforms VAT number Recent order tracking Distributor/supplier details Copies of purchase orders/invoices
I provided all the necessary information but was caught in an endless cycle of automated responses, so eventually, I gave up.
Fast forward to last month: I decided to give selling on Amazon another go. I submitted an appeal and was asked to upload my passport and a bank statement. After doing so, I received a message stating that my provided info couldn’t be verified, and they couldn’t offer more details due to KYC confidentiality.
The account health page that they directed me to doesn’t give any specific details on what else I need to provide.
My concerns/questions:
Reactivation: Does anyone have experience in a similar situation? How did you navigate it? Is there any hope of getting my account back? Multiple Accounts: I’ve heard that opening another account could lead to instant deactivation due to linking. Is this true? Selling on Amazon.com: Would I face the same issues if I tried opening a seller account on Amazon.com? Would they link it to my UK account?
Any guidance or shared experiences would be immensely appreciated. It’s frustrating to be in the dark, and I’m sure some of you have dealt with Amazon’s intricacies before. Thank you in advance!
