They closed my seller account, don’t want give me my profits
For context, I had an Amazon seller account with my wife. We received a request for identity verification in June and during the call she freaked out cause she didn’t know some of the very specific answers (past CC used) and closed the call. Very stupid, I know.
On August they told us that our account was going to be closed for “fraudulent activity” giving vibes that what my wife did was shady, But they shared that the money which is about 3k was going to be released after 90 days. Now that we’re past the 90 days, they are saying they are keeping the money because we were involved in fraudulent activity. No proof. Nothing. We were not involved in fraudulent activity. But they won’t even listen.
Has anyone experienced this before? Them saying they will keep out profits? Any ideas what we can do?
I would hire a lawyer, but I’m a small business so I don’t have that much extra cash.
